well it is often said that love is blind .. eternal ... blah blah !! ... Now when i hear certain love stories , i get to laugh rather than cherish .
A friend of mine has his girlfriend quite a few years elder than him . surely years ago , had they been neighbours , he would have gone to his mamma and cried out
" mamma , i also want to go to school .. look she(the girlfriend) is going "
" beta !! she is elder than u ... nxt year i'll send you 4 nursery ... now stop cryin "
or even worse she could have been one of those who first witnessed him walk on foot , for the first time ... and called out to everyone in joy ...
" aunty ! uncle ! come and see this ... he's able to walk"
with all these ,wonder how would the couple quarrel
wife - " dont you dare teach me ... dont forget you couldn't even walk or talk , i helped you ..."
hubby - " forget about that ... bcos of your cheap hair dye ... people get to learn that i m younger than you .. how many times should i ask u to use L'oreal ... damn!! "
not just that .. it could well be possible that they , years later could face a situation where in the husband is helpin his wife with a walkin stick or the couple travelling with only the wife enjoying the senior citizen's discount .
I always think that the line " i love you" is a compliment just like any other ..
say " you look beautiful" .
If it was so, then lemme tell you , once when i approached a gal for fun i found her facial expression such as if i had opened fire on her beloved ones and she's eager to avenge the homicide . I mean , smiles on her face dried away all of a sudden as if she was abused or hurt excessively.... woa !! surely the line " i love you " is not just a compliment ... i soon had to get honest and say " hey listen i was just surveying , for my blogs " ..
say what , better not apprehend it .
